4. How we use your information

• Provide the Service: To authenticate you, enable recording and transcription, and make your content available to you in the Service.
• Improve and secure the Service: To monitor reliability, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and improve functionality.

5. Recording consent and your role

When using the Service to record meetings, you are solely responsible for obtaining all necessary consents from meeting participants prior to recording, as required by applicable law (certain jurisdictions require all-party consent), and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations regarding the recording of conversations and the processing of personal data.

You acknowledge that you are the data controller for any Meeting Content captured using the Service and accept full responsibility for its lawful collection and processing in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

6. AI-generated content and data usage

The Service utilises artificial intelligence to generate transcriptions, summaries, and other outputs. You acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before relying upon it.

We do not use your Meeting Content to train our artificial intelligence models, and we do not authorise third-party AI service providers to use your personal data or Meeting Content to train their models.

7. How we store and secure your information

• We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
• We store data with encryption at rest where supported by our infrastructure.
• We restrict access to your data through access controls and row-level security policies.

8. Third-party services

The Service may integrate with or permit connections to third-party services, including video conferencing platforms (Google Meet, Zoom, etc) and cloud providers used to operate the Service.

We use service providers to host, store, transfer, and process data solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.

9. International data transfers and storage location

Your data is primarily processed and stored on servers located in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the UK or European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law.
